KJWW Engineering serves as the design engineer for a multi-phased new 200-acre Family Sport Complex for the City of O’Fallon. Phase I features a full array of playing fields for soccer, baseball, softball, football, basketball and volleyball. It also includes picnic shelters, playgrounds and recreation support facilities.
The playing fields include:
- 11 soccer fields and 1 championship field
- 3 baseball diamonds and 1 championship diamond
- 7 softball diamonds and 1 championship diamond
- 8 racquetball courts
- 4 tennis courts
The project and site development included a master plan for a phased implementation, including plans for a new 250,000 SF indoor recreation and aquatic center, entrance road and parking lots, and pedestrian walkway. The final build-out for the site is planned for 2015 with a total budget of $50 million.
